Day 1
Cradle of Wine
Visit Sighnaghi – a beautiful hill-town with 17th c defensive wall around; Cobbled streets and terra cotta tile-roofed homes with colourful carved balconies. The world sighnaghi is a Turkish and means “shelter”. Today, this city calls the “city of love”. Visit The Bodbe Monastery and the most beautiful Alazani Valley .In the case of good weather, we will have a chance to see the beauty of the snow-capped peaks of the Caucasus mountains.
Day 2
Georgian wine vault
The next day we will visit the Kvareli Tunnel – The largest storage of Georgian wines kept in the 7.7 km long tunnel shaped wine cellar which consists of 2 large parallel tunnels linked with 13 small galleries. In Khareba winery you can taste 30 varieties of the company’s best wines. After a little break, we will see Gremi – a 16th century architectural monument – the royal citadel and the Church of the Archangels. Tsinandali ethnographic museum, where 19 628 exhibits are kept. This is a place where in Georgia for the first time established European wine-making technologies. At the end of our journey we will visit the III-IV centuries City-fortress Ujarma.
