• On the second day we will drive to Georgia’s premier wine-producing area Kakheti. Here we will get to know the wine-making tradition in qvevris, which counts over 8000 years. We will also visit a very rare and impressive Khareba winery which is carved inside the Caucasus Mountain. The length of this tunnel is 7,7 km long. At the end of the day we will have traditional family dinner with the opportunity to engage in various traditional masterclasses.

Points to visit:

On this day we will head to Stepantsminda – the north-east Georgia. This is one of the popular destinations due to amazing landscapes and stunning nature. On the way we can visit Zhinvali reservoir, Ananuri fortress, waterfalls, various panoramas, and 14^th century Gergeti Trinity church with the elevation of 2200 meters. Gergeti offers beautiful views of the third highest peak of Georgia Mount Kazbegi (5054m.)
In this region we can try to cook traditional Khinkalis.

We will explore the surroundings of Stepantsminda and visit the village of Juta (2200m). Here we can hike through open valleys lying between the rocky mountains and enjoy the amazing views of Caucasian massive mountains.

Overnight in Borjomi

On this day we will visit the landmarks of Southern Georgia: Freshly renovated Rabati fortress in Akhaltsikhe, 12^th century impressive cave-town Vardzia which had more than 600 rooms, a bell tower, a library, a church, wine cellars, etc. Here we can find out more about how people managed to live in this cave town.
Southern Georgia is also famous for its old grapevines, in case of your desire we can check it and taste the wines from this region.

Overnight in Borjomi

Imereti, one of the most beautiful regions of western Georgia, is famous for its caves and cultural monuments. A relatively light route awaits us on this day, we will stroll through the territory of Motsameta Monastery where beautiful views of the river can be seen. Then we can visit Prometheus cave, which offers 1420m long walking path connecting 17 caves. Here it is possible to cover the rest of the 2000 m. distance by the boat.

Overnight in Tskaltubo

Another day full of impressions awaits us on this day. We will visit Samegrelo region which is the home of another impressive and spectacular place Martvili Canyon. We will have the opportunity to take a boat ride inside this canyon and we will then visit Enguri Dam, which is currently the world’s fourth highest concrete arch dam with a height of 271,5 meters.
Participating in various traditional masterclasses will also be possible in this region.

Overnight in Mestia

Svaneti is one of the most remote areas of Georgia. It’s rich in waterfalls, mountains, glaciers… Svaneti offers breathtaking views of the Caucasus Mountains. This region is also a home of four highest peaks in Georgia.

Our path heads to the impressive ravine which is known as the 9-waterfall gorge, here we will see amazing wild nature and beautiful waterfalls.

Overnight in Mestia

After seeing waterfalls we will head to the glaciers and reach a very beautiful area called Chalaadi glacier. Later on, we can learn more about the traditions and customs of Svanetian Life. We will also take the rope way to the top of the mountain to enjoy breathtaking views over Svanetian Mountains. Here you will be told an interesting legend about the love of two mountains so, Free up the memory of your cameras to take as many photos as possible!

Overnight in Tskaltubo

On this day you won’t be left without new impressions.
We will visit the medieval Bagrati Cathedral in Kutaisi and on our way to Tbilisi we will drop by Chateau Mukhrani Palace which is built by French architects in the 19th century. Chateau is surrounded by wonderful gardens planned by the Versailles gardener.  This was a gathering place for the Georgian elite of that time. Here we will have the opportunity to taste wines that are made with the combination of European and Georgian methods.
